What was the highlight of JA Ocean View Hotel
Great location, good hotel
The location in the Dubai Marina and close to the beach is just perfect for walking around. The room was very clean and spacious. Staff is friendly and willing to help. The view from the sea view rooms is just great. As we had a flight in the evening they were willing to give us a late checkout till 18:00 for a decent price.
Long queues to have breakfast. We stayed for 4 nights and even if we had breakfast included we were able to have it only in one day and in the rest 3 days we had to go to a nearby restaurant to eat in the morning due to the long queue in the hotel. The balcony door in the room was not closing completely so the outside noise was a little disturbing for a good sleep. Long trip with the elevator if you stay at a high level floor, try to not forget something in the room as it will take 10-15mins to get to the upper floors and back. The small street in front of the hotel is always with high traffic so consider it when calling a taxi or having your own car.

Pleasant and comfortable stay at Dubai
Staff - nice, helpful and competent Localization is double edged sword - on one hand it is close to a beach and Dubai eye, and also probably the only area in Dubai, that is kind of friendly for pedestrians, but on the other hand accessing JBR area via car/taxi later in the evening can be problematic due to traffic jams.
Breakfast was decent enough but not spectacular. Lots of things to choose from, but of average quality.
